When I first went online in 2008 I started with a static website. I knew nothing of writing code and still don’t really, so I opted for a site building program that was offered with my hosting. What a mistake that was!
I worked hard on that site but had problems with the software so I gave up on it and changed it to a blog using WordPress. Oh what a difference that made! It was so much easier to install for a newbie like me and easier to maintain too. WordPress now is even easier than it was when I first started.
I love blogging and my passion is travel but you have to have money to travel don’t you so I kept working the day job and blogged at night. I suppose I was interested in niche blogging because of my interests in the niches I chose ie health, home and family.
I have made some money with niche blogging but not enough to be financially secure so I changed my direction again to concentrate on building a business, and its something I know I can do.
Niche blogging is still something I like to do (I have several blogs) but now I will be concentrating on the business and putting my time into that so I have a plan and some goals andI will share them with you as we go along.
“I have a dream” so lets start…

WordPress is so much easier than a website you right there.
There is a new wordpress coming out soon 3.0 I think but I have see that they could be having security problems or more so when you are using your blog as a membership site people are creating passwords that are easily hacked thus hackers can get into your blog easily.
Your blog looks excellent even though your having PC problems.

I think you’ve made the right decision in building a business and I can see that you already have the drive to be a success, as it looks like we all do in the MWA crowd.
The great thing is though Pauline, as you already know how to do niche blogging, when your business grows to a level that you’re happy with, you can hire a virtual assistant to start a niche blogging business, train them by video, and still be running your business.
You already have the knowledge.

Yes, you are right. WordPress is much easier than a website. No coding required. Only configuration.
On Niche blogging, its a good concept. Good thing is that you know the subject. and with Alex’s coaching you have no reasons to regret. Website or WordPress, you will shine. We all want to be successful and we will make it together!!!

It is good to see you back in action after having so much difficulty. Alex is not necessarily technically inclined but he has built a reputable business. You have a dream, a niche, some experience and a mentor. Sounds like a winning team to me. Besides the community at MWA is extremely knowledgable and helpful. Just keep moving forward and taking purposeful action and soon enough I am sure you will see your dreams realized.

I had several websites myself and like you im not a techie so as you know this takes a long time to do. I will have to admit that I had the header done for me. I use a theme that is easy to adjust so that helps. Don’t be intimidated by blogging just start writing your posts and include keywords and you will do well.
