I am writing this because of something that I learned this week that has changed the way I look at this blog in particular. Building a business is my main focus and I have started several strategies to work towards this.
I have started article marketing with Unique Article Wizard and I have seen a lot of ping backs on the blog from sites where these articles have been posted. I am very pleased with this strategy and I will be continuing with it. Back links to my site are now showing 405 (check your site at http://www.iwebtool.com/backlink_checker). I have joined JV Giveaways which has been slowly building my list and building a business, and I have been commenting on other related blogs. These have also been good strategies too but what I am now going to tell you opened my eyes to what I should have been concentrating on and which has to be the most important thing, the first strategy for making money online.
I watching a video from John Jonas (from ReplaceMyself) about his first step to success online and that is making sales. If you don’t optimize your site or squeeze page to make sales then you are just wasting your time. You can get them to come to your site or page but if they don’t find anything interesting that will solve a problem or give them the answers they are looking for then they will leave. You wont see them again and all that work you did to get them there is wasted.
If you are sending them to your blog then optimize it so that when someone comes in they will see good content, make it easy for them to find the products they need and then show them the benefits. If you only promote good products then this is a win-win situation for you and your readers.
What I will be doing this week is really looking at this blog and optimizing it for my readers and the links I am sending them to. Making sales is my priority now, thanks John.

Good to hear that the Article Wizard is working for you. I have yet to use an article submitter, need to first start writing more articles, and have heard the good with the bad. I am focusing on building my list at the moment and have been slowly adding subscribers but know once I get a good amount I can then start adswaps and will be able to double in size. I know once this happens then I should start seeing sales so can’t wait for that to happen. Best wishes to you and keep it up!
