I want to say first that there are many good ethical marketers on the internet today. I am not talking about them in this article. Who I am talking about are the ones who say one thing and do another only to be selling the dream. I know it is partly our fault for wanting the easy quick way to success and being drawn in time and time again. Because of this there is a market and there will be always someone filling that market.
Have you received emails from these gurus pushing some big new product promotion only to find that they don’t actually use this product themselves and if they did they probably wouldn’t know too much about it because they have others to do the work. Its like do as I say not as I do. Do they do this to keep us from making the big money and becomes gurus like themselves or is there another reason like greed?
What I want you to do is unsubscribe to their lists. That is one thing we can do that will make a difference to their income and send a clear message. Let them see we want more from them. They say they are the leaders, the gurus, so they have to show us that they also listen to their customers.
They are good at getting us to buy their products and services especially selling the ‘dream’ to new marketers. That is not totally a bad thing as long as the people they sell to are getting the information or products they need to make the money or fulfill the need they wanted in the first place whatever that was.
You have probably come across these types of IM experts, the ones who make a lot of noise but are all fluff. They are a bit like car salesmen, they are good at convincing people to do something that they want you to do. Before you buy from these people look into their track record, where have they have come from, what they are really selling you, and if it is a long term profit maker or is it a get quick scheme that wont last. We all want to make money quickly and I am not saying you cant do that but often they are making their money by selling the product not by following the program.
I actually want to buy from the people who are most probably their support staff. These people know everything at the roots level of successful businesses. They work in the business every day and they know the secrets to these products and services.
So I say, attention all Account Managers, Affiliate Managers, Business Managers, Virtual Assistants and successful Marketers out there, give us the no-frills methods of making a living from the internet. Are you reading this? We want your answers.
